In the last month I've been into programming, music, animation, drawing, modelling 3D, and apart from that I still found time to think about new concept for my games and attending to classes at Uni. I won't post neither the model nor animations nor the drawings I've done, as they're mostly scrap. but still they helped me to learn quite a lot.
So, onto the main topic:
WARNING! GEEK AREA STARTS HERE
Wolfire games: [link]
It's a site/blog I've been following for over a year! The guys that run that site are awesome, right now they're making a really promising game called Overgrowth, which is (in short) about fighting ninja rabits.
But don't be fooled, if you're into game design it's a MUST WATCH! They update their blog daily with all sorts of info you would never get from any other developer, they're talking about everything, from modeling, through music to the deepest secrets of their engine. They're making the game on the fly, and update their blog with all the newest info.

The guy's amazing, I bet most of you already know about him, but anyway. He's an original video game reviewer that tores apart a new game every Wednesday.

Kirithem's Video Games And...: [link]
What started as a class project now became a quite well known youtube series among the indie game developers. Kirithem talks about several aspect of gaming in general, from sex in videogames to how aspects like storytelling are important, and his most recent VideoGames and the Female Audience. Every single video from the "Videogames and..." is worth a watch being not only informative but also fun.
GEEK AREA ENDS HERE
Jack Conte: [link]
I've only discovered this guy today but I already fell in love with his music. He's a one-man band creating musics ranging from his original creations up to covers. The one that caught my attention was his cover for Tchaikovsky's "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" which can be found Here (CHECK THIS SHIT OUT!)
Apart from his music he's doing some great music videos (to his own musics) often featuring how he made the music, but sometimes a real music videos which are awesome.
Incredible mario level. With music!!: Here
Looks like someone's got way too much free time (look who's talking), but also is quite original (eh....)
So yeah, quite a lot geeky stuff here but if you're one, and are into game development or indie music those sites are a must see!
So... Check them out, tell me if I helped you procrastinate a bit, and if you liked this journal then hope I won't be too lazy to make another one. There are still some videos and pages I know but didn't mention here that are worth to have a look at.
See ya next time!
